The foundation of QEHS2, LLC was laid in 1991 when founder Jay Serra launched CADD Source. Operating as a high-precision "hired gun" for drafting, Jay specialized in environmental, structural, and MEP engineering for a diverse range of sectors—including arms manufacturing and industrial hygiene. This era honed Jay’s obsessive attention to detail and his mastery of document control and standardized development.
In 1997, Jay pivoted from designing structures to designing processes. Alongside his father, he launched IsoTech, focusing on the core pillars of business management: process mapping, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), and continual improvement.
By 2009, Jay integrated his technical drafting roots with his expertise in Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety (QEHS) standards. Under his leadership at Business Improvement Systems, he guided hundreds of companies through the rigors of registration. To this day, his team maintains a 100% success rate, with every client achieving registration—and many remaining partners today.
In 2016, Jay established QEHS2, LLC as a dedicated entity to continue this legacy of excellence in management systems.
